S IMMO is committed to respecting, protecting and promoting international human rights in the course of all of its activities and does not tolerate any form of discrimination. This involves preventing and dealing with human rights violations that may arise as a result of the company’s activities on the one hand and, on the other, investing efforts in preventing or mitigating any negative impacts on human rights that may arise in the course of direct business relationships.
S IMMO has undertaken to maintain a work environment that is characterised by mutual trust, in which diversity and inclusion are valued and in which everyone is treated with dignity and respect. S IMMO complies with laws and regulations on the protection of human rights, fair working conditions and other provisions of labour law and refers here explicitly to
- the International Bill of Human Rights, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights,
- the Fundamental Principles and Core Labour Standards of the International Labour Organisation (ILO),
- the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and
- the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises
as frameworks for defining its publicly available organisational policy on human rights, which governs our Group-wide approach to human rights issues.
